Tanya graduated from Washington State University in 1999.
Her special interests are safe, comfortable anesthesia and post-surgical recoveries, dentistry, internal medicine, pain management, senior care, and feline care.
She adores dogs and has a special love of cats due to their extra sensitivity and needs.
Her greatest passion is pain prevention, control, and relief. This ranges from the administration of vaccinations to prevent devastating illness to extracting a painful, broken tooth to managing chronic arthritis and, sadly, end of life cancer pain.
Pain management strategies for arthritis (this includes CATS!), neck pain, back pain, any orthopedic pain, post-operative pain, and cancer pain are a top priority for any and all pets she cares for.
In 2019, she completed training in acupuncture with the Chi Institute in Florida. She now provides acupuncture in addition to standard pain medications and treatments.
Internal medicine and disease management are also one of her greatest interests. Helping pets and their people get through illness and disease with extra care and compassion are of the highest importance.
She is married to Tim White, DVM and shares her home with 3 funny dogs and 3 bossy cats.
